Making Culture Count Workshop

The Linn Benton Lincoln Health Equity Alliance is offering a FREE, all-are-welcome workshop on REALD & SOGI data collection, privacy and security, and compliance with Oregon’s Data Justice Act in the current political climate.

This training is for everyone: healthcare providers, public health professionals, community organizations, community health workers, and community members. No prior experience with REALD, SOGI, or the Data Justice Act is required. Whether you currently collect data, may be required to in the future, or simply want to better understand how health data collection affects communities and individuals, this webinar is for you.

Making Culture Count: Guidance on the Data Justice Act and REALD & SOGI will provide perspectives on data collection and privacy and security and compliance with the Data Justice Act in the current political climate. Facilitators will give participants opportunities to learn from each other with hands-on, collaborative practice while centering cultural responsiveness. We invite you to share your experiences collecting REALD & SOGI data and the challenges you see on the horizon as we prepare for the implementation of the Data Justice Act.
